Coming on the heels of NASEO’s publication of Grid-interactive Efficient Buildings: State Briefing Paper, NASEO has published two other resources to help states advance consideration of load flexibility and GEBs in electricity and energy planning, policies, and regulation. Roadmapping: A Tool for States to Advance Load Flexibility and Grid-interactive Efficient Buildings discusses approaches states can use to develop roadmaps and action plans while Considerations for Grid-interactive Efficient Buildings (GEB) Pilot Projects discusses matters pertinent to the development of pilot projects which states can use to demonstrate and validate grid-flexible technologies, policies, and regulatory approaches. These items were developed under the aegis of the U.S. Department of Energy-supported NASEO-NARUC GEB Working Group, which is gearing up for its next phase of activity. They are available along with other resources at the NASEO GEB resources page.
