NASEO’s Quick Guide and Technical Guide for State Action Guide for Energy Resilience Projects Under FEMA’s Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities (BRIC) Program are now available for viewing. The action guides are designed to empower State Energy Offices, State Emergency Management Agencies, key local officials, and private sector entities to work together to identify solutions to mitigate hazards to the energy sector, and pursue funding through the BRIC program and other federal resilience programs. Readers will gain a greater understanding of hazard mitigation planning for the energy sector; clarified, sequential, and user-friendly application instructions; peer tips and recommendations; and resources on a variety of subjects including cost-share, benefit-cost analysis, and project eligibility.
